Ajvar je deo zimnice, specijalna vrsta namaza, napravljena od crvene paprike, patlidžana i ljute paprike. Zavisno od količine i tipa ljute paprike ukus može biti između slatkog i ljutog. Ajvar je jedan od najukusnijih specijaliteta balkanske kuhinje. Najčešće se koristi kao namaz, npr. na sendvičima ili se koristi kao dodatak jelima sa roštilja. Svi sastojci koji se koriste u procesu proizvodnje Ajvar su prirodni, a pasterizacija se vrši bez upotrebe ikakvih konzervansa.
